Jimmy Carver, middle, owner of Cash for Gold, cuts the ribbon for his business Friday, June 17. The Ocilla-Irwin Chamber of Commerce presented the ribbon cutting for the new business, which is located on Fourth Street in Downtown Ocilla, “Since I’ve come to Ocilla, GA, I’ve been surprised at what you’ve done for me” said Carver, a native of Broxton. “I appreciate what you’ve done for me.” Although the business, as you would expect, gives cash for gold, it also buys sells and trades other precious metals, games, electronics and other items.
