The Ocilla-Irwin Chamber hosts the annual Sweet Potato Festival the last Saturday of October every year. Smiling faces, families united and memories to be made are some of the best ways to describe the Sweet Potato Festival. The festival began in 1960 to promote and recognize sweet potato growers.
