The Housing Authority of the City of Ocilla, Georgia was established in 1952 to address the needs of housing for low to moderate income families.  It is currently governed by five commissioners appointed by the Mayor.  They oversee an Executive Director and staff that carry out the daily duties and responsibilities of the Authority.

Our vision is to provide safety and comprehensive support to all victims of family violence and to promote activities that work toward the elimination of violence toward men, women and children.   Our mission is to end domestic and sexual violence, as well as child sexual and physical abuse through a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to investigations, advocacy and support, while working in the community to change attitudes, beliefs and behaviors.
